Rocaille of the Day: Alki Beach

The weather gods have blessed us with gorgeous weather this past weekend and altogether, me and Mr visited three different nearby beaches; but there was no sunbathing! Of course I took the opportunity and dressed in feminine skirts and dresses for a change, and this is my Saturday outfit:

You may remember this skirt from this post last year, and as you can see, it's still my favorite. This time I paired it with a grey Promod top I scored on sale, a wide black belt from Carry (also on sale) and my sequined ballet flats. I was planning on wearing a pair of wedge sandals, but there was too much walking involved.

In other blog news, I'm still working on a giveaway for ya and it should be up very soon, so stay tuned! I'm also dying to show you my July favorites, again it's been a long time since I last posted those.

How was your weekend?

  1. You look super cute! Very pretty outfit!

  2. Cute outfit :D I really like your flats and I've been looking for a pair like that for awhile XD You're very lucky to live near the beach and it seems like a really romantic, peaceful getaway! I actually went to the beach with my cousins the past weekend and the weather was HOT HOT HOT as we just experienced a heat wave on the East coast :)

  3. @Art Anna: Aww, thank you, dear!

    @Mariella: Thanks, love :)

    @AngelicBetrayal: I got them at least year ago in Poland, but I think I've seen something similar since. The nearest beach is in fact a small grassy one, but I still really like going for a walk there, it's beautiful! I'm jealous of your weather, it's raining here... AGAIN. x

  4. You look absolutely beautiful! The short hair looks perfect against your face shape. Super pretty! x

  5. Beautiful photographs! (The closest beach here is a few hours drive and I have heard from my highschool teacher that it's pretty nasty...)

  6. You look adorable! And you have the perfect face for such a close crop. It's really lovely. xx
